Please view the following document containing all the general rules and
regulations which need to be strictly adhered to for the competition.
•The competition is open for all the schools approved by KHDA and the
Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates.
•The event will be held physically on-site at Dubai Scholars Private
School. It is to be only attended by the participating student(s) and
a teacher (from the respective school); not by parents.
•The competition is open for all the schools approved by KHDA and the
Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates.
•The participants should be a bonafide student of the school.
•The age of the participants (and therefore, the age groups) must be
calculated as on 30th November 2023.
•Participants for the Qirat Recitation Competition sub-category should
recite the specified Surah (according to their age category) from
memory.
•A warning bell will be alarmed after the allotted time. The
participants are to not continue after the warning bell has been rung.
•All participants for this event will receive individual Certificates
of Participation.
•The decision of the judges will be final.
•As part of External Registration, separate entry forms for boys and
girls are available on the ‘Registration’ section on the website,
which may be duly completed.
•The participants must attend the event in their respective school
uniforms.
•The Overall Championship Trophy for the year will be awarded to the
school achieving the maximum number of overall points (i.e. for both
girls and boys combined together across all categories).

For the art competition !
•Participants will have to bring
only raw materials and ensure that any work done must
take place within Dubai scholars. They will be given
two hours in school to build their projects from
scratch. There will be no ready made parts brought in as this is
contradictory to the competition’s purpose. Raw materials allowed will
include items such as stationary, chart paper, cardboard, etc. Failure
to follow these rules will result in deduction of points or even
disqualification.
•Please do ensure cleanliness of the class you’re assigned in.
•Please bring some old news paper or sufrah to lay down to not dirty
the floor.
